1. Good Governance is at the head of Bundjalung Tribal Society. Planning, policy and procedures, management practices, accountability, transparency, record keeping.
2. Members, Tenants, Directors & Staff – integrity, respect, commitment, practice + maintain cultural value, good decision making, act in accordance with Gov/non Gov legislations and policies, best management practices, produce information.
3. Stakeholders/Partners are connected - Key initiatives of BTS connection to stakeholders and community Development. Sustainability and Building opportunities for Economic Development Sustainability. Build new and existing partnerships, develop partnership opportunities for BTS and community members through program development including training and employment. Develop MOU/contractual agreements.
4. Housing, Namabunda Farm, Culture, Employment & Training & Community:
Housing – Continuing to provide quality, affordable, stable and suitable housing for BTS members and community.
Namabunda Farm – To develop and implement key areas of the Property Management Plan for the future sustainability of BTS.
Culture – Maintaining cultural integrity by promoting cultural values and developing cultural programs/activities.
Employment/Training – Identify & Develop training and work programs, source funding and create future opportunities.
Community - Identify community needs, develop programs, build community capacity and develop skills through an engagement process.
5. Cultural Integrity – All we do is for our people and the enhancement of our culture.
6. Economic Development, Sustainability & Independence – Strong financial base to ensure long-term sustainability for BTS members and the community.
